History

In 2003, we moved into a former garage on the edge of the Potomac Canal in Georgetown. Few yoga studios existed in the city at the time and there was no telling how things would go. But, as Helen Keller once said: “Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all.”  So, we set off on our path with determination, excitement and expectation.

Soon students, from all over the Washington-area, began to join us. Students became friends and fellow yogis. Gradually, a nondescript redbrick building was transformed into the heart of a vibrant community. Today you can choose between classes at our Georgetown flagship or our new space in Bethesda on the corner of Elm Street and Woodmont Avenue, across the street from Jaleo Restaurant on Elm Street.

Whatever you do, don’t wait. Step into the heat of our studios and join the thousands of other students who have already discovered us and how good life can be!
