With temperatures in the studio hovering in the mid 90′s, our dynamic practice will take you on both a physical and mental journey. Students from all walks of life come to rinse and renew their spirits, as well as strengthen, sculpt, and tone their bodies. Power 1 is a physically challenging class that is suitable for all levels. In this class, you will gain strength, balance, grace, flexibility, and endurance. Come to class 3 times a week, and watch your body and mind quickly transform! Be ready to sweat!
Power 2 is a dynamic blend of sweat, strength, and spirituality. Designed for those with a consistent yoga practice, who are ready to take it to the next level. This strongly-paced class incorporates advanced variations, arm balances, and inversions, and is not intended for beginners. Be ready to work and have fun!
This class is a strong, rhythmic, medium-paced flow set to music. Get a powerful, sweaty workout that will quiet your mind, strengthen your body, and set your spirit free! Be ready for a heart-pumping endorphin rush that will plunge you into the depths of your heart and soul.
This Down Dog signature class is a fun, dynamic flow set to high energy music that will inspire you to soar your practice to the next level with every breath and beat. With emphasis on your core, this class will strengthen your practice, develop your core strength, tone and sculpt your abs, while increasing your functional strength. Join us for this fun, sweaty practice and unleash your inner warrior, leaving you feeling strong, flexible, and grounded.
Slow Flow 3
This strong, rhythmic flow is the next step up from a Power 2 class, and is designed for the experienced practitioner who has a solid practice, together with a deep connection and understanding of their own breath, bandhas, and inner rhythm. There is very little instruction in this class, which is guided by breath work, movement, and music. These classes will allow you to tap into your highest potential of awareness, movement, and meditation. No beginners please.
Down Dog’s Power Basics is a slower-paced class designed to give you the time and support to understand the proper foundation and alignment of each posture. Power Basics is a fun and interactive class, and a great place to start your Down Dog journey.
This slow, meditative flow is designed to create calm and ease in both body and mind. Class begins with slower-moving Sun Salutations and flow sequencing to warm the body and release tight muscles. As the body begins to free, the practice seamlessly transitions into a deep, still practice. This class is the perfect place for beginners and power yoga junkies alike.
Power Restore is Down Dog’s Yin Yoga practice, intended to fully relax and restore body, mind, and spirit. Yin is a quiet in its nature, and focuses on slowly stretching the connective tissues around joints, which in turn also helps strengthen them. It is the perfect practice for the Power Yoga Junkie and/or athlete, and is the perfect compliment to our Power Yoga 1 & 2 classes.
Love working hard and getting your sweat on? Then you’ll love PowerFIT! This class is designed for maximum fat and calorie burn. It will get your heart pumping and sweat dripping through exercises that incorporate cardio, strength, endurance, core, flexibility, and functional movement. Get ready to sweat, do the work, and inspire yourself and those around you to soar to your highest level of potential.
This challenging and sweaty class will kick your practice to the next level. This class is not for the faint of heart, and is not intended for beginners; A solid and steady practice is required. Get ready to challenge your body and mind in a brand new way, and power up your practice!
Ready to grow your practice to the next level? This rhythmic and fluid Prana Vinyasa practice, set to music, embodies the essential components of intelligent sequencing that embody the qualities of strength, grace, and inner focus. Get ready to sweat, have fun, and set yourself free!
Flow for $5
Following our all-levels format, these hour-long classes offer an opportunity for anyone to access the powerful, transformative benefits of our yoga practice – at a reduced drop-in rate – as our way of giving back. It is also a format used for training new DDY teachers.
Our senior teachers are available for private classes that will individually tailor a session to meet your needs. Private sessions are a great option if you dealing with an injury or you want to fine-tune your practice. Your yoga teacher will design a series of yoga postures specifically for you.
